WILDLIFE AND HABITAT PROJECT

Airlie Foundation encourages responsible land stewardship most directly through habitat preservation -- maintaining nature trails and gardens for educational use and protecting unspoiled natural areas for wildlife. With its extensive wetlands, the campus is a sanctuary for wild waterfowl and hosts a large part of the captive free-swimming swan collection maintained by IAPM's Environmental Studies- Swan Research Program. Airlie is home to Environmental Studies' wildlife and habitat education program, which holds community seminars, conducts unique field tours about the group's research projects, and develops informative brochures on native flora and fauna.
